What is the Race for a REVOLUTION?

The Race for a REVOLUTION is a unique opportunity for Solid Rock supporters to participate in a local race and raise money for a new clinic in the Dominican Republic.

Solid Rock supporters come in all shapes, sizes, and speeds.  They also live in 44 different states across the USA!  This spring, by registering for a local race in your city and following the directions below, you can race for a REVOLUTION to care for the poor in the Dominican Republic!

Why Race for a REVOLUTION?

Access to medical care is something that can be easily taken for granted.  In the Dominican Republic, good healthcare is not only difficult to be found, but it is often denied to the poor. We have a vision to construct a new non-profit clinic that will fulfill our original vision of serving the poorest of the poor while providing opportunities to expand available services to the southwestern region of the Dominican Republic.

And we want YOUR help! We are looking for people who want to run (or walk or bike or do a triathlon!) for an important cause – building a clinic in the Dominican Republic.

Where do I begin?

We need you to:

• Sign up for a race in your area (and get others to join you!)
• Email Kate (so we can provide SRI running shirts for each person running with you)
• We will create an online fundraising page for you on Crowdrise. (Or feel free to make your own!)
• Ask your family and friends to support you
• Have a great race!
